Stephen St. Jean opened S and S Service in 1984 because he loves to work on cars. He grew S and S into one of the most reputable garages in the greater Danbury area. In 2012, he changed the name to S and S Auto Repair Service. With the name change also came a new partner – Laura Futie – and a fresh new start.

Laura Futie started off answering phones at S and S part-time. She quickly discovered she could offer a unique perspective on the business and marketing side of things and, 20 years later, she is now ASE certified and part owner of the new S and S Auto Repair Service with Stephen St. Jean.
Get a technician with almost a lifetime of experience
Stephen St. Jean knew from about age 6 that his career would involve automobiles. Consequently, he spent much of his life watching and learning the best techniques for working with automobiles. He then worked his way up the ladder at F.A. Kovacs, eventually taking over that business, which would become S and S Auto Repair Service.
